West Slope Library presents: Take and Make: Eclipse Viewer

Learn how to create an eclipse viewer for safe eclipse viewing with a kit sponsored by the Friends of West Slope Library and instructions created through a partnership between Solar Eclipse Activities for Libraries (SEAL), Nasa @ My Library, and Science-Technology Activities & Resources for Libraries (STARnet). 

Kit includes:

  • 1 white cardboard box, 6" x 13.5" x 4"
  • 1 foil sheet, 5" x 10.75"
  • 1 sharpened pencil
  • Detailed instructions
  • October 14 annular eclipse handout

Register to reserve your kit and pick it up at West Slope Library at your convenience any time from September 1-30* during the library's open hours. Some kits will also be available for pick up at the library, no reservation required.

Please limit 1 kit per person.
