Garden Home Library presents - Train Art Celebration
By Garden Home History Project
In partnership with the Garden Home History Project, the library welcomes an exhibit of four watercolor paintings depicting the Oregon Electric trains that served our area in the early 1900s. All ages are invited to view the art, learn about Garden Home's railroad history, and enjoy a train-themed storytime and scavenger hunt around the library! The pictures, painted by Kent Haley and acquired through local "train man" Harold Gjerman, will be on display in the library through the fall.
