Performing the Bharatanatyam margam (meaning a path) called “In Love With,” Sweta Ravisankar weaves a story with the dances she learned and choreographed during the pandemic and has been in love with ever since. 

Accompanied by a live orchestra, Sweta will talk about her relationship with these pieces, their evolution within her, and how it led to the evening’s lineup. Covering dances in traditional dance forms as well as contemporary themes, this performance is perfect for audience members of all ages wishing to learn about Bharatanatyam and those who are already long-time fans.

As a recipient of a City of Hillsboro Performance Series Grant, the proceeds from this performance go directly to Sweta Ravisankar with a portion going to Tualatin Valley Artists.
