AU Easter Camp - Australia (This event is planned by the DB Outreach Australia Chapter)

What: Easter Camp is an annual event where young people and families gather and experience friendship and inspiring talks and discussions, while expressing and learning more about Christian Science.
Cost: We have been blessed by a number of very generous donations, and as such we are able to offer the following pricing:
Adult (18+ & not studying full-time): $160
Student (full-time, regardless of age): $100
Pre-schooler (0-4): $50
However, the full cost of Easter Camp is as follows:
Adult (18+ & not studying full-time): $420
Student (full-time, regardless of age): $360
Pre-schooler (0-4): $170

*The fees are in Australian dollars, so they are very much in Americans' favor.
Booking Information: The AU Easter Camp 2023 booking page can be found here. Camp fees are payable on the website by credit card at the time of booking. Please contact the organisers to request payment by alternative means. Bookings must be made by 31 March 2023.

Bus transport - return Melbourne Tullamarine airport: $40
High/low ropes $15
Giant swing $15
Crate Tower $15 (work as a team to build it as high as you can!)

We are not able to offer horse riding this year
Accomodations: We are not able to offer bedding here at this site. Participants should bring their own sleeping bag or doona, with single base sheet and pillow with pillow case.
Travel Information: Easter camp will begin at 4pm on Friday 7 April. We anticipate we will have a bus at Melbourne airport to meet those traveling from interstate between 1pm and 3pm. The Camp site is approximately one hour from Melbourne airport. The camp concludes at 2pm on Tuesday 11 April.
If travelling to Victoria from interstate, please look for flights that arrive before 1pm on 7/4 and that leave after 6pm on 11/4.
Additional Information: Campers under the age of 14 should attend with a close adult relative, unless they have attended previous Easter Camps, or have demonstrated previous experience of attending Camps independently.
Easter Camp participants play a vital role co-creating a supportive and inclusive environment for everyone regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation. As Mary Baker Eddy writes on page 13 of Science & Health with Key to the Scriptures: “Love is impartial and universal in its adaptation and bestowals.”

1.) the Trybooking page, and 2.) the Commitment and Consent form which you will need to print and sign, available on the Easter Camp website here. Please also ensure you have read the child safety policy on the Easter Camp site. 3.) the Waiver form which you will need to print and sign, also on the Easter Camp website.
Please note that:
Victoria (Australia) based adults attending without their children may need to apply for a Working With Children police check in order to comply with child protection policies.
