Menu: Tiered Cakes for Each Guest to Build and Decorate, and a Delicious Cocktail!
Class Description: Ever wonder how wedding and other gravity defying cakes are created? If so, then this is the class for you! Perfect for the aspiring cake artist, this class will teach you the techniques of assembling, building, and decorating beautiful tiered cakes perfect for any occasion! You’ll enjoy working alongside other students under the direction of Executive Pastry Chef Julia Kent to create your own works of art! After mastering a few basics, you’ll be able to treat family and friends to the same delicious creations at home!
What to Expect: In Cake Class-
Students will watch as Chef Julia demonstrates the basic techniques of assembling, filling, and frosting a cake.
Students will receive 2 assembled cakes, which Chef Julia will then demonstrate and teach each student how to properly frost, stack, and decorate.
Students can expect to learn many of the professional techniques that Chef Julia uses to create over 100 wedding and specialty cakes a year!
Each guest will receive a cocktail. Or NA beverage for those under 21.
Classes are limited in size
You will be standing, cooking, and working for most of the class.
Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back
You will be able to eat your creations, or bring home if you choose.
Students will receive a coupon good for 10% off a purchase in the Mill Market the day of the event
